Otto the Lagotto Romagnolo
Based on the winning breed from Crufts 2023, Otto the Lagotto Romagnolo is an adorable member of the menagerie who uses the ‘chain loop’ crochet technique to create this dog’s iconic teddy-bear-like curls. This breed dates back to Renaissance Italy where the dogs gained their reputation as the world’s finest truffle dog, using their exceptional sense of smell to sniff out truffles in the countryside.
TOFT’s Edward’s Menagerie collection is a series of crochet amigurumi toys designed by Kerry Lord. This crochet animal kit contains TOFT’s quality pure wool yarn and an easy-to-follow downloadable pattern. There are video links for all the crochet stitches and techniques used in the pattern to get you started and help you complete your toy. Share your progress with the TOFT community on Instagram @toft_uk using the #edsanimals hashtag.
