Oslo basket
A pretty Oslo basket knitted in Woolpower and then felted in the washing machine.
The base of the basket is knitted with double-pointed needles and then circular needles.
The basket is both pretty and practical.

Materials:
- 2 skeins of 100 g Woolpower color 10
- DPN and 32” Circular needles US 11 (8 mm)
Measurements:
Before Felting:
Width- measured flat: 21 inches
From starting point to top: 15 inches
Height of the side: 7,5 inches
After Felting:
Width- measured flat: 13 inches
Height of the side: 4 1⁄4 inches
Gauge:
14 sts x 12 rows = 4” x 4”
Pattern information:
The bottom of the basket is knit on DPNs and switches to the circular needles once there are enough sts.
It is knit in the round in garter stitch = knit 1 round, purl 1 round.
Wash in a machine on hot cycle in order to felt.
Abbreviation of increase stitch:
M1: From the front, lift loop between stitches with left needle, knit into back of loop.
