Description from Tangled :
Fashion is an eternal rebirth. Fashion as my grandmothers knew it, as my mother knew it, and as I know it is very different. I had in mind a garment that could bring together my grandmother’s and my mother’s fashions, with the contemporary requirements of a young woman today. The fashions of the 1950’s inspired the shape of the garment; the color is reminiscent of the ubiquitous 1970’s orange my young mother was fond of. As a woman of 2010, I want to wear comfortable, practical, yet stylish garments. Worked in a soft merino superwash, on a circular needle with minimal seaming, this is the perfect project for today’s fashionista.
