Opera House Shell
by SuviKnits
Suvi Simola´s flattering pullover shell echoes Expressionist architecture, in which the structure is fragmented, distorted, or replicates naturally occuring geological elements. Cleverly placed short rows and waist shaping create a gentle, curving structure, and an unique curved bottom edge creates form by hugging the weater´s hips.
A simple lace pattern adds a bit of intrigue and romance.
Pullover shown measures 34 “ / 86.5 cm and is designed to be worn with slight positive ease.
Note about a typo in the pattern: on short row 4, there’s a word “before” missing, it should read:
Purl to beg of rnd m, sl m, purl to 14 (16, 17, 19, 20, 22) sts before wrapped st of previous row, w&t.
