The Piedras Collection was inspired by the river-rocked Malabrigo colorway Piedras. Because rocks rock.
Yarn: approximately 414 (828) yards lace-weight yarn, divided as follows: MC: 234 (468), all contrasting colors together: 180 (360). I used Malabrigo Lace for all samples, and have broken down individual yardages in the Pattern Notes.
A note on yardages: you can use any number of contrasting colors for this cowl. Keep in mind if you are using leftovers that you’ll need approximately 30 yards of a contrasting color for each repeat of the mosaic pattern, and that the single loop cowl has 6 repeats, whereas the double loop cowl has 12 repeats. You will also need approximately 39 yards of the main color for each repeat.
