One Skein Daisy Lace Scarf
by Joan Rowe
This scarf features a daisy lace pattern with a garter stitch border. The lace pattern shows best with either a solid color or a yarn with long colorways. Short color repeats tend to confuse the eye when looking at an all over lace pattern. This sample scarf uses 50g of Knitpicks Chroma fingering, 396yds/100g, color ‘Midwinter’.
Gauge is not important, except that it be a final texture that will drape nicely.
The lace is knit on alternate rows but because the return rows contain a mix of knit and purl sts, I have called this an intermediate pattern.
