The “On the 7” Cowl
By Corrado Lark

Designed for “7th Floor Yarn”, a fantastic mother and daughter team that can be found here: https://www.7thflooryarn.com/ A special thanks to Amanda and Judy for their generous support. Amanda’s Sample in the “Lemonade” Colorway is stunning!!

Featuring:

“Crazy Cables”: Circular cables with a crossed stitch centered in the middle.
“Brioche Pleats”: Brioche stitches paired with twisted stitches to create a ‘pleat“ like effect.
A couple rows of brioche stitch and a lot of stockinette breaks!

The Needs:

-US Size 6 and 8 24” circular needle.
-A stitch marker and a darning needle.
-Gauge: 9 brioche stitches per 4”, blocked. 18 stitches and 25 rows per 4” blocked stockinette.
-Yarn: 2 hanks of 7th floor yarns’ Aran Mcn yarn. Samples done in the “Lemonade” Colorway and the “Train Congestion” color way (the latter is a fantastic speckled color they hand dyed for me!)

Thank you to all of my fantastic test knitters, Amanda and Tori for modeling, and my tech editor who helped make this pattern as polished as it could be. I couldn’t have done it without you all!
