Oil Well Scarf

This scarf pattern invokes the landscape of West Texas with the red dirt of Lubbock and the oil wells of the Permian Basin. Instructions are included for either a woman’s or man’s scarf and include a YouTube video for the oil well stitch.
Skill level: Intermediate
Women’s scarf measures approximately: 6” wide Men’s scarf measures approximately 8” wide
Materials:
- Sueno Merino DK weight yarn, 3.75 oz. balls - 2 balls = 56” x 6” (women’s), 3 balls = 63” x 8” (men’s)
- Size G (4.00 mm) crochet hook
- Yarn needle
- Stitch marker
