The stretchy Ofer hat is worked in the round, starting with a rib pattern and transitioning into elongated stocking sts separated by purl sts. Slip all sts p-wise with yarn stranded along the WS. The yarnovers created and then dropped as part of the pattern do not count as sts.

The hat is designed to use most of the skein of Cascade 128. If substituting the yarn, you may have to knit fewer repeats of the elongated St st patt.
