Occasional Braids
Occasional Braids is a two colour brioche cowl.
The pattern is designed to use a single main colour and three contrast colours. I used the ends of three skeins of sock yarn and a 100g ball of a fingering weight yarn I had sitting waiting to be needed.
In putting this project together, I was thinking of recycling waste, using up as many scraps of yarn as possible in the contrasts. I had three largish scraps of about 30g. but as long as you have a consistent main colour there is no reason why you should restrict yourself to three contrasts if there are others you wish to include. I also chose a neutral, a speckled/mixed, and a loud self striping because I wanted it to look a bit mix and match, but you may have other preferences.
