Oblique Rib Mittlets
I wanted to design a pair of mittlets that were easy and quick to make that also had and interesting stitch pattern. The oblique rib pattern smoothly circles all the way around the mittlet and the thumb is a k1, p1 rib making it a snug comfortable fit. These mittlets are very flexible. They can be made in Small/Medium or Medium/Large.
For the Small/Medium you will only need 1 Skein (136yd/125m) of DK weight. For the Medium/Large you will need 2 Skeins (unless you make the cuff shorter than recommended and you could get away with using just one) I used Cascade 220 Superwash Sport in Como Blue.
Needles- 1 set of US 6/ 4.0 mm double pointed needles.
Notions- Tapestry needle.
