Nyhavn Sweater
Description
Ever thought the inside of your sweater looked too nice to never be seen? The Nyhavn Sweater knitting pattern lets the purl side shine - but don’t worry you won’t be working purl stitches the whole time! The Nyhavn purl sweater knitting pattern is constructed with an oversized fit, dropped shoulders and a 2x1 ribbing at the neck and cuffs and is finished off with a rolled hem detail.
You can choose to add a little design in stockinette stitch. This pattern gives you the option to stick to plain stockinette stitch or add a heart or an alpaca stitch design. The design adds a cute detail to the basic sweater knitting pattern. With the knitting pattern for the sweater, you can create a sweater with a round neckline that is knit on big needles and is designed to keep you warm. The knitting pattern for a sweater is ideal for showing off special yarn, be it a rustic yarn with a mottled effect, hand-dyed wool or a solid colour yarn.
Begin by making a gauge swatch to check that you have the correct gauge.
