Nursery Spread
There are nine different designs given and an alternate block.
Each block measures about 9 1/2 inches.
We suggest making it 5 wide and 7 blocks long. 18 crocheted animal and fowl blocks and 17 alternate blocks are required for the spread illustrated.
Approximately twenty 250-yard balls of number 20 mercerized crochet thread are required to make these blocks; one and one-half yards of fabric. If the alternate block is crocheted you will need an additional fifteen 250-yard balls of thread.
Use a number 10 crochet hook.
Blocks include; bunny, rooster, deer, squirrel, duck, dog, pig, swan and cat.
