KITS AVAILABLE! When you buy a kit from Campfiber Yarns, you’ll get a 50% discount code for the pattern.
Named for the all-night arts festival, this tank is inspired by the shifting colours of the sky through sunrise. As soon as the idea came to me, I knew I wanted to work with Campfiber Yarns, home of these incredible colourways. This silk blend is a perfect base for Lora’s dye work and keeps this top cool in the heat of summer.
Worked from the top down, this swingy A-line summer top features a collar and hem worked in linen stitch, a slip-stitch pattern that is notoriously hard on the hands. The effect is so worth it, but take it slow and take breaks.
The body is worked in stockinette, with raglan shaping to the underarm, including a raised back neck, and the front and back are joined to work in the round. A-line shaping widens out to the hips. Suitable for confident beginners - there are some fiddly increases in the collar section, but otherwise, only basic techniques are used.
4 Women’s Sizes: 1 (2, 3, 4) | 41.5 (48, 56, 64.75)” finished bust. (All measurements given in inches.)
Swatching: Be sure to match both the linen stitch and stockinette gauges, and change needle sizes if needed. The relationship between the 2 gauges is important for the hem edging to lie flat.
Choosing a size: The sample shown here is size 1 modelled with 5” of ease, and this top can be styled however the wearer likes it. Anywhere from 2 - 8” of ease will work.
