Notebook is a large and cozy shawl, worked in fingering weight yarn in four colors. The main part of the shawl is worked sideways from one tip to the other. The stitches for the edging are picked up from the bottom edge of the main part and the edging is then shaped with the short rows.
The pattern includes a photo tutorial for German short rows.
