The pattern is written for magic loop and has instructions for both cuff down and toe up versions. The colour work is charted only.
Sizes
S (56 sts), M (64 sts) and L (72 sts)
Yarn
80-100 g of fingering weight yarn, app. 400 m/ 437 yds per 100 g in two colours. You will need approximately 60 (65) 70 g of MC and 23 (25) 28 g of CC.
The sample socks were knitted with Schachenmayr Regia 4-fädig 4-ply (80% Merino, 20% Nylon) in colourway 2143 Linen and Zwerger Garn Opal Uni Solid 4 ply in colourway 5191 Anthracite.
Needles & notions
2.75 mm/ US 2 circular needle (80 cm/ 32 inches long or longer) or size to meet the gauge
One size larger needle for colourwork (optional) markers
tapestry needle for weaving in ends
Gauge
36 sts x 48 rows = 10 x 10 cm/ 4x4 inches in stockinette stitch after blocking
