You can never go wrong with a tam. It never goes out of fashion. Young ladies and old men look as sophisticated wearing one!

The inspiration for this particular tam is the traditional Norwegian sweater pattern Setesdal and knitted in the colours of our flag. It is knitted form the bottom up to the crown. If you are familiar with colour work and knitting in the round you will find this a fun project.

When you have finished the tam you can choose between a slouchy look or a classic look. It all depends on how you block the tam at the end. It is all described and you have time to think about it while you knit. Happy knitting!
