Norrsunda Bladkrans Hat
The pattern pdf includes matching mittens.
The open wreath motif on the hat and mitten appears in several places in the medieval murals in Norrsunda church, north of Stockholm, Sweden. There it is used as a brocaded pattern in many different combinations of colours.
”Norrsunda Bladkrans” means “Norrsunda Open wreath” in swedish.
Alternative yarns, if you can´t get the Kampes 2-ply wool yarn originally used for this design.
