Relax and unwind with the deceptively simple No Room for Ravers – though it features cables and beads, the seemingly complex patterning is achieved with a mere 8-row pattern repeat. Knit from the cuff down, with a gusset and heel flap, these socks will soon be off your needles and warming your toes. For a luxurious feel, I chose to make these in Hayton 4ply, which includes cosy cashmere in the blend.

The finished foot circumference of these socks are: 17.5cm/7” (S), 19cm/7.5” (M), 20cm/8” (L) and 21.5cm/8.5” (XL), to fit foot circumference 19.5cm/7.75”, 21cm/8.25”, 22cm/8.75” and 23.5cm/9.25”.

This cuff-down sock pattern, with a gusset, heel flap and grafted toe, contains step-by-step instructions for the easy crochet hook method of beading (which avoids the need to pre-thread all the beads at once), and links to useful online tutorials. Beading is optional of course! And if you intend wearing your lovely socks with closed shoes, I suggest omitting the beads on the foot section.

This pattern is only available as part of the eBook or the Print book.
