No more cold ears, mummy!
A word from the designer: “With the comfort of my sweet little one in mind, I wanted to design a very soft and warm hat. Lofty and incredibly soft, the Rowan Lima was perfect for it. Alpaca is definitely one of the warmest fibres one can knit with!
As for the Fair Isle detail, well, I wanted something that would remind of argyle, yet being different. I also wanted a pattern that could fill the whole height of the hat (without being too loud) in order to protect from freezing winds. After a little browse in my favourite stitch dictionaries, I found the perfect little pattern, traditional yet modern, versatile to fit both boys and girls.“
