NINA is a scarf with an integrated hood. It is knitted from tip at tip in stockinette stitch and 1x1 ribbing. The hood is constructed using increases, decreases, and short rows.

SIZES: 1 - 2
Hood height 12 - 13.5 inches / 30 - 34 cm
Length (total from tip to tip) approximately 71 inches / 180 cm (adjustable)

GAUGE: 20 sts x 26 rows for 4x4 in or 10 x 10 cm in St st with 4.5 mm/US 7.

YARN: scarf is knitted with two strands of lace weight yarn and one strand of light fingering held together.
approx. 400 - 550 yards / 360 - 500 m for each yarn.
It is also possible to knit with a sport weight yarn and a lace weight yarn held together or a single DK/light worsted weight yarn.

NOTIONS: needles sizes 4.5 mm/US 7, tapestry needle, 2 stitch markers.

NOTES: the sample are knitted in Silk Mohair (75% kid mohair, 25% silk – 50g = 250 m) from Isager and Alpaca 2 (50 % Alpaca, 50% wool – 25g = 212m) from Isager.
4 balls of Silk Mohair and 2 skeins of Alpaca 2.

Size 1 is knitted with Silk Mohair and Alpaca 2 color 36.
Size 2 is knitted with Silk Mohair color 68 and Alpaca 2 color Thyme.

NINA est une écharpe avec une capuche intégrée. Elle se tricote d’un bord à l’autre en jersey et côtes 1/1. La capuche est construite par un jeu d’augmentations, de diminutions et de rangs raccourcis.

TAILLES : 1 - 2
Hauteur de la capuche 30 - 34 cm
Longueur (totale d’une pointe à l’autre) environ 180 cm (ajustable)

ECHANTILLON : 20 m x 26 rgs pour 10 x 10 cm en jersey avec les aiguilles 4,5 mm.

LAINE : le modèle se tricote avec 2 fils de lace et 1 fil de light fingering tenus ensemble. Environ 360 - 500 m de chaque.
Il est aussi possible de tricoter avec un fil d’épaisseur sport et un fil d’épaisseur lace tenus ensemble ou un seul fil d’épaisseur DK/light worsted.

MATERIEL : aiguilles suggérées 4,5 mm (cable 40 cm), une aiguille à laine et 3 anneaux marqueurs.

NOTES : les modèles sont tricotés en Silk Mohair (75% kid mohair, 25% soie – 50g = 250 m) de Isager et Alpaca 2 (50 % Alpaca, 50% laine – 25g = 212m) de Isager.
