The Night Sky hat is a tribute to the moon and its phases. The night feels like a completely different world – mysterious, still, and filled with quiet beauty. Without the darkness, we wouldn’t see the stars or the moon, our constant companion above. Knit in cosy aran weight yarn, this quick-to-make hat features a moon phase pattern, originally seen in the Equipoise shawl, now reimagined in stranded colourwork. It’s a warm and comforting project for chilly evenings, and a reminder that everything moves in cycles – just like the moon.
