1300 (1400, 1500, 1650, 1800, 1950, 2100) yards DK weight yarn.
Shown in Green Mountain Spinnery Cotton Comfort (80% wool, 20% cotton, 180yd 165m/57g) 8 (8, 9, 9, 10, 11, 12) skeins ‘Storm’
Needles
US 6/4mm: circular 24” or longer for body and a set of 4 or 5 DPN for sleeves.
US 4/3.5mm: circular 24” or longer for hem, 16” circular for collar and a set of 4 or 5 DPN for sleeve cuffs.
Notions required
14 stitch markers, tapestry needle.
Gauge
21 stitches x 31 rows =
4” in Stockinette stitch on larger needles
Adjust needle size to obtain gauge
The body is worked in the round from the bottom up to the underarm. The back and front are divided, and worked separately. The shoulders are joined with a 3-needle bind off then the sleeves are picked up and worked down to the wrist.
Body length can be adjusted by adding or subtracting length before beginning the patterned panels, if adding length be sure to purchase additional yarn.
