Nèu is my new pattern for Christmas decoration. And like the previous ones, it’s free – it’s my early Christmas present to you!

Nèu is a plump yet elegant snowman (‘nèu’ means snow in Occitan), with scarf and hat.

The snowman is worked in felting aran yarn (I used DROPS Nepal with 6 mm / US# 10 needles.
After felting, it is stuffed.
Then we work him a scarf and hat in fingering yarn.

You will need:

• 50/90/120 meters / 55/100/130 yards of aran felting yarn (pattern sample in Drops Nepal).
• 30/40/50 meters / 35/45/55 yards of fingering yarn (for the scarf and the hat), and a bit of black thread (for the eyes).
• Stuffing.

Nèu est mon nouveau modèle de décoration de Noël. Et comme les précédents, il est gratuit - c’est mon cadeau pour vous un peu en avance !

Nèu est un bonhomme de neige (“nèu” veut dire neige en occitan) dodu et néanmoins élégant, avec son écharpe et son bonnet.

Le bonhomme de neige est tricoté en fil aran feutrable (j’ai utilisé le fil DROPS Nepal avec des aiguilles 6 mm.
Après feutrage, il est rembourré.
Puis on lui tricote une écharpe et un bonnet en fil fingering.

Nèu est proposé en trois tailles: petit, moyen et grand.
Il mesure environ 13/18/26 cm de haut.

Il vous faudra :

• 50/90/120 mètres de fil aran feutrable (ici Népal de Drops).
• 30/40/50 mètres de fil fingering (pour l’écharpe et le bonnet), et un peu de fil noir (pour les yeux).
• du rembourrage.
