I’ve just recently overhauled this pattern, worked it in two new yarns, adding a sport weight version using my own Freia Handpaint Yarns for all of them. Pattern requires one ball of MC and one of CC regardless of worsted or sport versions.

Please note, this hat is NOT brioche stitch, but is plain old fair isle knitting.

Worsted version is worked on 6mm needles, sport version is worked on 4mm needles.

The first one I made in the lower picture is using Noro Kureyon and Cascade Cloud 9.
