Neck Warmer
by Susie Johns
This neck warmer is knitted flat, then the sides are joined to make a tube (joining instructions do not appear on the pattern). It is knitted using the yarn double and there is a row of eyelet holes through which you thread a plaited cord with pom poms on the ends. Essentially a chunky tube of knitting, it can be worn as a neck cowl or as a hat, as the mood takes you. The tube in the photographs was knitted using yarn given with this issue of the magazine – but other double-knitting weight yarns could be used.
