Welcome to the Nebula Sweater - a swirling constellation of gradient colour.

Are you looking for an all-over colourwork pullover with a sleek contemporary vibe? Well, you’ve come the right place! This striking yet straightforward pattern will make your knitting heart sing.

Nebula’s colourful integrated bobbles mean no fussy weaving or sewing at the end. You’ll strand the contrast colour across the back on some rows, though there are lots of plain rounds too. The neat little bobble stitch is really easy to work, with no need for cable needles or wrapping yarns.

Yarn Choices
DK yarn is perfect for transitional weather. Nebula’s style is so wearable - dress it up with a fancy, floaty skirt, or down with jeans. Pick a neutral main colour and then go wild with the gradient yarn. Maybe even add a strand of mohair? Or tone things down with two neutrals for a restrained and classy look.

My sample is worked using a gradient contrast yarn, and I bet you’ve got one lurking in your stash! Alternatively, use miniskeins or leftovers for an adventurous colour palette. The pattern calls for DK contrast yarn, but you can also use fingering weight - just hold it double and off you go.

Yardage Requirements
3 (4, 4, 4 // 5, 5, 5 // 5, 6) balls of Cygnet Deluxe DK and one ball (for all sizes) of Cygnet Boho Spirit.

Alternatively, use any DK yarn that knits to gauge:
820 (910, 990, 1100 // 1190, 1270, 1370 // 1460, 1600) metres MC and 40 (50, 50, 60 // 70, 70, 70 // 80, 90) metres CC

Construction
The pullover is worked seamlessly in the round from the top down. Knitting begins with a ribbed neck. Stitches are held for sleeves, and knitting continues down the body, ending with a ribbed hem. Sleeve stitches are returned to the needles and sleeves are worked in the round from the top down, ending with a ribbed cuff.

Chart lovers will happily work the yoke and body from a simple chart. The pattern is also fully written out for those who prefer written instructions.
