Natvanter is the Danish word for “night mittens”. Natvanter are warm knitted mittens without a thumb. These mittens are suitable as sleeping mittens for arthritic hands.

The pattern is made for at yarn with a gauge of 27 stitches per 10 centimeters (textured pattern) i.e. a yardage of approximately 120 meters per 50 grams. Pictured in merino extrafine 120 from Hjertegarn.

The pattern includes directions for size S, M, L and XL with circumference (mitten) 23 (25, 27, 29) centimeters and a length of 25 (26, 28, 29) centimeters.

This an easy pattern written for a knitter who is familiar with knit, purl, increases and decreases (worked in the round), a knitter who is able to follow written instructions.

If you weave in the yarn ends neatly/invisible these mittens are 2 sided.
