HELP FOR JAPAN
Nanako is a charming little knitted doll designed by Hélène Magnússon and a friend of Theodóra. She was named after a Japanese friend of mine. I don’t know how she relates to Theodóra and I will discover it with you in an upcoming episode of ”The Adventures of Theodóra”.
If Nanako is showing her sweet face today, it is in order to help the Japanese mothers and babies in the Northern East part of Japan, suffering from the disaster. The profits from the sales of the pattern and the kit will be donated to La Leche League Luxembourg – for Japan. My friend Nanako is an active member there and collaborates directly with La Leche League Japon. Maybe some Nanako dolls will also fly to Japan and some little Japanese girls? Please, contact me if you wish to give a ready-made Nanako doll to La Leche League Luxembourg for Japan.
The pattern for the doll (including “klukka” dress and underwear) is the same as for Theodóra. Only the colors are different.
