Mr. Jackson made quite a mess of Mrs. Tittlemouse’s house in his search for snacks! Can you blame him though, he lives in a pond, so wet footprints are sort of a given! You can see the trail Mr. Jackson left behind on the outside of these socks. The socks are knit top down with a heel flap and gusset construction. Just like Mr. Jackson feels quite at home in Mrs. Tittlemouse’s house these socks are designed for comfort with a soft folded cuff. The footprints are made up of knit and purl stitches as well as simple 1/1 cables.

Sizing
The pattern is available in 5 sizes: XS (56 stitches), S (60 stitches), M (64 stitches), L(68 stitches) and XL (72 stitches).

Gauge
Gauge is 9 stitches per inch and 11 rows per inch in stockinette on 2.5 mm (US 1.5) needles.

Materials
• 250 meters (273 yards) of fingering weight yarn in MC.
• 65 meters (72 yards) of fingering weight yarn in CC.
• 2.5 mm (US 1.5) double pointed or circular needles.
• Cable needle.
• Tapestry needle.

Sample
Sample was knit using Het Wolbeest Warme Voeten yarn club from April 2020 and used the full 50 grams of MC and 12 grams of CC. Sample has 7 repeats of the pattern on the leg and has a 9.25” (23,5 cm) foot.

Pattern can be knit using a chart or using written instructions.

Meneer Jackson voelt zich prima thuis bij de buren. Hij hupt zijn plas uit en gaat rustig bij hen op zoek naar wat lekkers om te eten. Dat hij daarbij een spoor van natte voetafdrukken achterlaat heeft hij zelf niet door! Op deze sokken zie je het spoor dat Meneer Jackson heeft achtergelaten aan de buitenste kanten van de sokken. De sokken worden van de boord naar de teen gebreid met een spie. De boord is extra zacht zodat jouw voeten net zo comfortabel zullen gaan voelen als Meneer Jackson!

Het patroon is beschikbaar in de maat XS (56 steken), S (60 steken), M (64 steken), L (68 steken) en XL (72 steken).

Steekverhouding
De steekverhouding is 36 steken en 44 toeren per 10 cm in tricot.

• 250 meter sokkenwol in HK.
• 65 meter sokkenwol in CK.
• 2.5 mm rondbrei- of sokkennaalden.
• Kabelnaald.
• Maasnaald.

Voorbeeld
Het voorbeeld is gebreid met het garen uit de Warme Voeten club April 2020 van Het Wolbeest. De volledige 50 gram van de HK en 12 gram van de CK zijn gebruikt. Het voorbeeld is maat M met een 23,5 cm lange voet en 7 herhalingen op het been.
