Moss Stitch Squares Blanket
A free version is also available.
The Moss Stitch Squares Blanket showcases the timeless moss stitch. Moss stitch is used for the squares, the joining technique and the border. The blanket is made up of 49 individual squares arranged in a 7 by 7 formation. Each square has 14 rounds, with 13 rounds completed before using the join-as-you-go joining method on the 14th round to seamlessly connect them.
Gauge: 8 rounds made as per pattern below = 10cm/4in. The gauge is not critical for this project, but it may affect yarn quantities and the finished size might be different than stated.
Finished Size: Approximately 118cm x 118cm (46.5in x 46.5in).
An ad-free PDF version (digital download) of this pattern is available to buy now from Ravelry. This PDF is 39 pages long and has step-by-step progress photos (on pages 1-32) like the free version on my blog, it also includes just the written pattern (on pages 33-39) with minimal photos and diagrams for those who do not want lots of photos to print out.
There are supporting videos available for the moss stitch squares and the join-as-you-go-joining method.
