Mosi Vest is the latest addition to the Mosi family!

The colors of the moss…There is something truly magical about the thick and spongy moss (mosi in Icelandic) that covers old Icelandic lava fields. I keep being drawn back to it. After the mittens, the hat, the sweater and the socks, here is the vest with a V neckline. A staple I felt was missing in my wardrobe, in which I can camouflage myself in the moss on a fresh Icelandic summer day.

Worked from the bottom up in a wide range of sizes, with a cinched waist or a straight body, this lightweight vest features little stranded knitting motifs that are very pleasant to knit. It is worked entirely in the round with my soft Icelandic lambswool yarn, Gilitrutt Tvíband, then steeked in 3 places for the armholes and neck, using the traditional method to cut open a lopapeysa (the traditional lopi sweater).

Sizes: XS(S,M,ML)L,XL,2XL(3XL,4XL,5XL)
Recommended fit: approx. 0-5 cm / 0-2” ease around bust. Vest shown is a size M with a cinched waist.
The vest is short: if you want to make it longer, I recommend skipping the cinched waist and knitting the straight option.

Choose your size: add the desired ease to your upper bust measurements and choose the size closest to the results.
