Mosaic Hat
This two-colour beret-style hat is perfect for those partial skeins of sock yarn where there’s not enough left to make a sock but still enough for a project!
It’s designed to be the perfect weight for a lightweight spring hat, and the Mosaic Knitting technique means that it’s an easy knit without the fear of taming colourwork floats!
Sample is shown in Stitch Please’s Amethyst Label, a high-twist merino yarn that’s since, sadly, been discontinued.
For some easily available yarn substitutions I’d suggest Sweet Georgia Yarns Tough Love Sock, Knit Picks Twill Fingering, or Malabrigo Ultimate Sock.
