The Mosaic Carpet Cushion was the project for a very popular workshop in 2016 and then a very popular kit in 2017. Using 6 colours of Rowan Felted Tweed, this lovely cushion is a great way to learn the addictive technique of mosaic knitting. The finished cushion measures 48cm (19 ins) x 48cm (19 ins) and is filled with a 50cm (19.5 ins) x 50cm (19.5 ins) machine washable cushion pad. You will also need a piece of backing fabric measuring 48cm (19 ins) x 48cm (19 ins).

When knitting this design, it is important to follow the mosaic knitting rules included in the pattern.

PATTERN NOTE: If the row has a black square but there is a white square below it on the row below, still slip this, even though it’s not black. The pattern will work out fine, just follow the chart as it is.
