Morwenna Shawl
This triangular shawl has a pattern of grey stripes worked on a purple garter stitch background. The stripes are knitted using German short rows, and the shawl is finished with a border of garter lace. Anniken’s sample was knitted in Lana Grossa’s Lace Seta yarn, which has since been discontinued, so we have recommended two alternatives:
Isager Strik Alpaca 2 (Lace weight; 50% alpaca, 50% merino wool; 250m/273yds per 50g skein)
Malabrigo Silkpaca (Lace weight; 70% baby alpaca, 30% silk; 384m/420yds per 50g skein)
