Moriko
This shoulder bag is created from one piece of striped knitting, sewn together and then felted to create a dense fabric. The long shoulder strap is looped through a short strap to close the bag. It’s knitted in an aran-weight Icelandic wool from Lopi.
Size
Approx 64cm (25in) circumference x 30cm (11¾in) deep from edge of base, not including handles, after felting
Yarn Requirements
Lopi Léttlopi (Aran weight; 100% wool; 100m/109yds per 50g ball)
- A Black (0059); 3 x 50g balls
- B Spring Green Heather (1406); 2 x 50g balls
- C Orange (1410); 1 x 50g balls
Needles and Accessories
- 5mm (UK 6/US 8) circular needles, 60cm long
- 5 x 5mm (UK 6/US 8) double-pointed needles (DPNs)
- Stitch holder
- Card for bag base (optional)
