Moontower
Just in time for you to open that yarn countdown or advent box of minis, allow me to introduce the Moontower shawl.
An invitation to color with your yarn, Moontower is available in two sizes. You can choose to knit a smaller neckerchief or a larger shawl.
No minis? No problem! Moontower is equally beautiful and fun to knit with a single skein of color shifting yarn.
Did someone say “handspun”? I am thrilled with how my larger sample of Moontower knit up with one skein of fingering weight from my handspun stash for the contrast color and two skeins of fingering weight hand dyed yarn from Julie Asselin for the main color.
My smaller sample uses five colors from mini skeins for the contrast colors and one skein of fingering weight for the main color, all from Julie Asselin.
Moontower is a versatile pattern that allows you to create your own masterpiece with assorted color options ensuring that your shawl is completely unique.
For ease of reading the pattern, instructions are both charted and written.
