The Monarca Cowl features a repeating butterfly colorwork pattern inspired by the geometry found in Art Deco designs. The colorwork is visible on all sides, so the stranded yarns are hidden. The cowl size is pictured. The larger size creates a double wrap for an infinity scarf style.

The cowl is knit in a tube. The provisional cast on and finishing edges will need to be joined with a kitchener stitch. The stranded colorwork is charted only and all done in stockinette.
