Modular grid socks
They are cuff-down socks. Pattern features really simple texture pattern at front of the foot, plain stockinette at back, and a bit modified slipped stitch heel flap. Really easy and relaxing knit.
Yarn
Fingering weight yarn, 400 m in 100 g.
For a sample, I used ON line Supersocke, Degrade- Color.
40g ~170m. Color:2330
Approximately 300 (340, 415) yrd, 275 (310, 380) m.
Yardage may vary if your gauge/yarn is different.
Needles
US #1 / 2.25mm DPNs (or circular for magic loop)
Or as required to meet gauge.
Gauge
32 sts & 42 rounds to 4” (10cm) in stockinette st on US #1 (2.25 mm) needles, knit in the round, after blocking.
Sizes
Adult S (M, L)
Finished measurements:
Cuff: 7.5 (8, 9)”, 19 (20, 23) cm around
Foot (adjustable): 9 (10, 11.25)”, 23 (25, 28.5) cm
