From the pattern description
Nature provides us with a vast range of design possibilities and for this particular design I focussed on geology and natural materials. Ideas were sourced from fossils,geological specimens and minerals. The colours are sympathetic to the theme and the muted range of chocolate, stone, and silver-grey echo the earth’s colours. The addition of lurex thread and sparkling beads are included to suggest mica as found naturally in rocks and pebbles. The whole colour scheme has been carefully selected for its ambience and serenity.
