Mitford
Mitford is a highly wearable, fun-to-knit piece which takes just 3 x 50gm skeins of the wonderfully soft Fibre Co. canopy fingering weight yarn.
Knitted from the bottom up, the easy to remember pattern grows quickly and is a great pick-up and put-down project because it’s so easy to trace where you are in the repeat!
The textured pattern is modified for the contrast border and the shawl is finished off with a neat ribbed edging.
I added ties for ease of wear, but the shawl also looks great draped loosely round the shoulders with the ties undone as well as scrunched up as a scarf.
