The Missowski Cowl is available as an individual pdf or as part of the Missowski Collection, which includes The Great Missowski and Missowski Slouchy. If you previously purchased The Great Missowski or Missowski Slouchy, the price of the collection will be discounted by the amount of your previous purchase. (Please note that if you purchased both patterns previously the ravelry system isn’t set up to credit you for both. If that is the case, please contact me with the e-mail address you used for purchase and I will gift you the set.)

A companion piece to The Great Missowski, my homage to Jeff Bridges and Missoni, the Missowski Cowl was designed to fashionably eat up all those pesky leftovers, so that you can make full use of your fabulous yarn. The pattern employs a simple slipped stitch pattern of 4 stitches and 4 rows to create the look of chevrons.

finished measurements
25” / 63.5 cm circumference.
9.5” / 24 cm deep.

yarn
Shalimar Yarns Equus,200 yds/183 m per 4.25oz/ 100 g; 100% merino wool:
2 skeins “Buttermilk” (MC);*
1⁄4 skein each “Juniper Berry” (CC1 ); “Citrine” (CC2); “Ore” (CC3); and “Glacier” (CC4).

The cowl can be worked with 1 skein MC at recommended gauge if swatch yarn is re-used but the yardage is very close. It is strongly recommended that you purchase 2 skeins to ensure sufficient yardage, or incorporate fewer MC stripes, using other colors instead.

Cowl requires approximately 220 yds / 201 m worsted weight yarn in MC;
40 yds / 37 m each worsted weight yarn in CC1, CC2, and CC3;
25 yds / 23 m worsted weight yarn in CC4.
