A companion piece to The Great Missowski, my homage to Jeff Bridges and Missoni, the Missowski Cowl was designed to fashionably eat up all those pesky leftovers, so that you can make full use of your fabulous yarn. The pattern employs a simple slipped stitch pattern of 4 stitches and 4 rows to create the look of chevrons.

Shalimar Yarns Equus,200 yds/183 m per 4.25oz/ 100 g; 100% merino wool:
2 skeins “Buttermilk” (MC);*
1⁄4 skein each “Juniper Berry” (CC1 ); “Citrine” (CC2); “Ore” (CC3); and “Glacier” (CC4).

The cowl can be worked with 1 skein MC at recommended gauge if swatch yarn is re-used but the yardage is very close. It is strongly recommended that you purchase 2 skeins to ensure sufficient yardage, or incorporate fewer MC stripes, using other colors instead.

Cowl requires approximately 220 yds / 201 m worsted weight yarn in MC;
40 yds / 37 m each worsted weight yarn in CC1, CC2, and CC3;
25 yds / 23 m worsted weight yarn in CC4.
