This INTERMEDIATE crochet pattern is for an adorable little spotted elephant from the Island of Misfit Toys.

This intermediate crochet pattern is written in US terms and is designed for crocheters with a solid understanding of simple crochet, and who don’t mind a little bit of sewing. Lots of photos are included to help you along the way.

You will need:
• 100 grams size 4 worsted weight yarn in white
• 30 grams size 4 worsted weight yarn in red
• Scrap amount of blue, pink
• Size 4.00 mm G hook, or size needed to obtain gauge
• Tapestry needle
• Fiber Fill
• Stitch marker
• 2 small black buttons ONLY if piece is intended for people over 3 years of age

Notes
• Misfit Elephant’s body/head is worked in one piece.
• Misfit Elephant is worked in continuous rounds from the bottom up.
• Misfit Elephant’s limbs, dots, trunk and ears are worked separately and then sewn on.
• Misfit Elephant is roughly 8 inches tall.
