Designed for the DFW Designers Volume 2 Edition e-book.
A Tunisian crochet wrap that is very textured, not only because of the stitching but also the yarn used here, a thick and thin, and it lends a very organic appeal.
Crocheted in one long rectangular piece, edged with simple chain stitches and added buttons that make it possible to style your wrap in many ways.
Measurements unblocked: Length 86” (218 cm). Width 7.5-8” (19-20 cm).
Yarn:
Mojave, a sport weight hand dyed yarn in a thick and thin texture (330 yards/100g), 2 skeins.
Available at www.yarnz2GO.com. Sample used 595 yards (545 m).
Alternatively use 595 yards of another (thick and thin) sportweight yarn.
Notions:
US size J (6 mm) Tunisian crochet hook or size needed for correct gauge
3 Buttons 1” in diameter
Gauge: 16 sts in 4” (10 cm) worked in stitch pattern.
