No miniature Christmas scene would be complete without a hand knitted stocking! Why not make a set to go across the fireplace ready for the special festive visitor? Or hang the stocking at the base of a child’s bed, waiting to be filled with goodies?

This pattern uses size 22 miniature knitting needles (UK) and embroidery thread in orange or khaki/beige but can also be knitted using traditional Christmas colours such as red or green, and mainly uses stocking stitch and 1x1 rib. The top is finished off with a little loop for hanging.

It is knitted flat using 2 needles and the seam sewn.

The thread is 100% cotton and should be hand washed if soiled.
