Use as a decoration or even for a keychain! You’ll love this mini crochet succulent amigurumi pattern.

For this pattern, I chose a DK weight yarn (category #3) that is cotton. I’m trying to use up my stash of cotton yarn, and I added a small thread crochet “flower” on top.

You can use any weight of yarn you like for this easy project, just keep in mind that it will change the finished size up or down depending on what weight yarn you use. A lot of people have DK and/or worsted around, and they both work fine!

Any fiber type is fine for this as well. It’s great for using up stash yarn! Acrylic, wool, cotton, it doesn’t really matter.

Just be sure to check the recommended hook size on your ball band and go down a couple of sizes so your stitches are nice and tight and the tiny bit of stuffing doesn’t show.

This easy pattern is made in a few parts and stitched together. It only takes a tiny yardage of yarn and fiberfill.

The base of the plant container is worked first, then stuffed and topped off with a cap to finish the container.

Then the succulent leaves are crocheted and attached. Finally, the flower is crocheted and attached.

If you’d like to make a keychain, you can find the hardware needed at Walmart or a craft store (I got mine at Walmart). I used split rings and a key ring and they were very inexpensive. I could probably make 10 more keychains with what I have left!
