The sweater is a children’s version of the adult version. It is knitted in thinner yarn, but still from the bottom up. Suggested needles: 3 ½ & 5 mm (40 or 60 cm and double pointed needles unless you prefer using magic loop technique)

Gauge: 17 sts x 24 r = 10 x 10 in pattern on 5 mm needles

It is recommended to knit a sample on circular needles, as this will give the most accurate result. Achieving the correct gauge is crucial for the shorts to have the described measurements.
