Construction: The cowl and hat are knit in the round from the bottom up.

6-12 mo. (1-2, 2-3, 4-6, 7-10) years
Approximately 17” (18”, 19.25”, 20.5”, 21.5”) circumference at top opening, 19.75” (21” 22.5”, 27.25”, 29”) circumference at bottom opening, and 4.25” (4.25”, 4.5”, 6”, 7”) height at
center.
Hat Sizes:
6-12 mo. (1-2, 2-3, 4-10) years
To fit 17” (18”, 19”, 20”) head circumference. Hat is approximately 6” (6.5”, 7”, 7.5”) tall.
Yarn: Sport weight:
Cowl: 115 (120, 130, 170, 200) yards
Hat: 110 (115, 120, 130) yards
Needles:
Cowl: US 6 circular needle (16”)
Hat: US 4 & US 6 DPNs; US 6 circular needle (16”)
Gauge: 20 sts & 40 rows = 4 inches in lace pattern with US 6
