Mill Creek Socks
Flowing from the Okanagan Highlands, Mill Creek meanders through Kelowna before emptying into Okanagan Lake. A popular destination for families and hikers, Mill Creek Regional Park’s quiet trails wind over bridges, across boardwalks, and through a forest of moss-covered trees before ending at a series of scenic waterfalls.
Mill Creek Socks are knit cuff down, with a simple slipped stitch embellishment flowing down the top of the sock, over a background of reverse stockinette. Knit in stockinette and then turned finished-side out before working stockinette heels and toes, these socks involve minimal purling. Although designed with an afterthought heel, an alternate heel can be easily substituted.
