Milky Way Blankie is a beautiful space themed circular crochet blanket made by spiraling white and variegated blue yarn together and working from the center, outward.

Then sparkly stars are added to the blanket, joined as you crochet the final round of each star.

This fun blanket includes sizes from a small child’s lovey to a large bedspread!

Arrange the stars randomly as I did, or arrange them to match a constellation, or the night sky on a special date.

Yarn:

Red Heart With Love Solids (100% Acrylic; 370 yds; 198 g; yarn weight category 4/Medium/Worsted): 1, 1, 2, 3, 5 skein #1001 White (color A)

Red Heart With Love Variegates (100% Acrylic; 230 yds; 141 g; yarn weight category 4/Medium/Worsted): 1, 2, 3, 5, 8 skeins #1937 Deep Blues (color B)

Bernat Premium Sparkle (97% Acrylic, 3% Metallic; 258 yds; 142 g; yarn weight category 4/Medium/Worsted): 1 skein #60002 White Sparkle (color C)

Yardage: You will need 105, 365, 590, 870, 1600 yds of color A and 115, 405, 655, 970, 1780 yds of color B. You will need 6 yds of color C for each Star you make.

Crochet Hooks: K (6.5 mm) for Blanket and I (5.5 mm) for Stars. Adjust hook sizes if needed to match gauge.
